At DCS ApS you will find everything in PSUs and power supplies for PCs

The power supply unit (PSU) is one of the most critical components in a computer, and at DCS ApS we offer a wide range of PSUs in different classes, sizes, and wattages. The assortment is tailored for both the gaming segment, where performance and power consumption demands are high, as well as for business and office use, where stability and energy efficiency are in focus.

We supply PSUs from renowned brands such as Corsair, FSP, Listan and Inter-Tech, all guaranteeing quality, reliability, and long lifespan.

ATX Power Supplies

ATX is the most common standard and fits the majority of desktops and gaming PCs. They come in multiple wattage classes and can support demanding components such as high-end graphics cards and processors. ATX PSUs are therefore ideal for both gaming and workstations that require high performance.

SFX Power Supplies

SFX models are compact solutions specifically designed for Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX cases. Despite their smaller format, they deliver high performance and are ideal for systems where space optimization is essential – such as small office setups or compact gaming builds.

EPS Power Supplies

EPS power supplies are developed for servers and professional workstations, where high stability and power capacity are essential. These PSUs offer more connections and often support dual-CPU configurations, making them suitable for enterprise environments and advanced setups where reliable 24/7 operation is required.

Good to know about PSUs

A PSU (Power Supply Unit) converts alternating current (AC) from the wall socket into direct current (DC), which is used by the computer’s components. A modern PSU is equipped with safety features that protect against overcurrent, overvoltage, and short circuits, ensuring both operational reliability and component longevity.

Connection options include:

  • 24-pin ATX connector for the motherboard

  • 4/8-pin EPS connector for the CPU

  • PCIe power cables for graphics cards

  • SATA power cables for hard drives and SSDs

How to choose the right PSUs for your assortment

The choice of PSU depends on your customers’ needs. For office and home use, 400–500W is usually sufficient, while gaming PCs often require 600–750W. For high-end gaming or workstations, 800W or more is recommended.

It is also important to consider energy efficiency, such as 80 PLUS certification, which ensures optimal use of power and reduced heat output.

Form factor is also a key factor:

ATX is standard for most desktops, SFX is suited for compact builds, and EPS is aimed at servers and professional systems.

PSUs for gaming PCs

Gaming PCs place specific demands on the PSU. In addition to high wattage, it should have certified efficiency (80 PLUS Gold or higher), safety features such as OVP, OCP, OTP, and SCP, and modular options. A modular PSU improves cable management, reduces heat build-up, and makes it easier to expand or change the system configuration.
