NEC E438 på 43" er en direkte belyst skærm i kommerciel kvalitet, som er ideel til uddannelse, virksomheder og andre digitale skiltningsapplikationer. Sammenlignet med tidligere generationer af skærme giver denne models 4K UHD-opløsning og direkte LED-baggrundsbelysning højere synsskarphed, reduceret strømforbrug og lokal dæmpning, der giver et højere dynamisk kontrastforhold. E438 har en integreret ATSC/NTSC-tuner, og to 10W-højttalere giver brugerne mulighed for at nyde high-definition broadcast-funktioner. Denne skærm har også en USB-afspiller, hvor video-, lyd- eller JPEG-billedfiler kan indlæses og afspilles i rækkefølge til skiltningsformål.
