Who is Tier1Asset?

Tier1Asset (T1A) is one of Europe's leading companies in refurbished electronics. Founded in Denmark in 2001, the company has since specialized in extending the lifespan of IT equipment through a circular economy principle.

T1A offers a wide range of products, including laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, smartphones and tablets, all thoroughly tested, upgraded, and graded to ensure high quality and performance.

With Tier1Asset in the assortment, resellers can offer customers strong alternatives to new and more expensive devices, delivering high value for money.

Tier1Asset's grading system

To provide customers clarity about the condition of the products, T1A uses a detailed classification system. This grading system describes both cosmetic condition and functionality, which is also reflected in the pricing.

Depending on the device type, different grading categories exist. For laptops, the grades range from “REZERTIF1ED+” down to “BARGA1N”. For smartphones, grades range from “T1A As New” to “T1A Worn”.

Tier1Asset laptop grading system

  • REZERTIF1ED+: A new product that has not been used.

  • REZERTIF1ED: Very good condition with few cosmetic signs of use.

  • T1A: Good condition with moderate signs of previous use.

  • BARGA1N+: Acceptable condition with clear signs of use but fully functional.

  • BARGA1N: Obvious signs of use, ideal for budget-conscious customers or educational institutions where wear and tear is expected.

On laptops, Tier1Asset offers a 6-month warranty on batteries, the same warranty offered on new laptops.

Tier1Asset desktop PC grading system

  • REZERTIF1ED+: Excellent condition, like new.

  • REZERTIF1ED: Very good condition with minimal use.

  • T1A: Good condition with visible signs of previous use, but fully functional.

Tier1Asset monitor grading system

  • REZERTIF1ED+: Top quality with minimal use.

  • REZERTIF1ED: Very good condition with few cosmetic signs.

  • T1A: Good condition with moderate signs of use.

Tier1Asset docking station grading system

  • T1A: Good condition with visible signs of previous use but fully functional.

Tier1Asset smartphone and tablet grading system

  • T1A As New: Almost like new with minimal use.

  • T1A Very Good: Very good condition with few signs of use.

  • T1A Good: Good condition with moderate signs of use.

  • T1A Okay: Acceptable condition with clear signs of use.

  • T1A Worn: Significant signs of use; fully functional but with cosmetic imperfections.

All T1A products come with a 2-year warranty and a new Windows license, ensuring both quality and reliability. These warranties can be extended by purchasing warranty extensions for either an additional 1 or 2 years.
